Le Cinque Terre

Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso are located in the area between Punta Montenero and the Mesco promontory.
The territory that frames them is among the most beautiful in Italy, and for their peculiarities, they have been declared WORLD HERITAGE SITE by UNESCO in 1997.
The coastal strip, a Marine Protected Area’, , and part of the hilly area are part of the Cinque Terre National Park.

For centuries the paths of the Cinque Terre have been the only link between one village and another and between them and the interior.
Today a network that develops over 120 kilometers allows you to appreciate and visit, through different kinds of paths, the whole territory.
The most famous is the Blue Path (entrance fee required), which from Monterosso, through ups and downs among olive groves, vineyards, stream beds, farmhouses and terraced plains, reaches up to Riomaggiore.
It is one of the most appreciated pedestrian paths of the entire peninsula because it is not particularly difficult,
and for the panoramic viewsit offers to the thousands of walkers that hike it during every season of the year.

We would like to remind you that walks along the trails in the Cinque Terre National Park must be taken onlyin good weather
conditions, wearing appropriate footwear and by people with good hiking experience.
